Year 5 Mogo Overnight Excursion

The students will travel by seat belted coach to the Minnamurra Rainforest on the south coast where they will venture on a guided tour before departing for Mogo, an old Gold mining town. We will stay two nights at Old Mogo Town and while there experience and re-enact life on the gold fields and the gold rush days as well as try their hand at gold panning, going to school in the gold fields, making a traditional toy and the traditional food, damper. We will depart early on Friday morning to visit Mogo Zoo.
