The annual Athletics Carnival is a fun and energetic event on the school's calendar. Student participate in many track and field events, including sprints, long jump, high jump and shot put and discus throws. Students are encouraged to take part in all events and gain valuable house points to go towards their team's total points score in an attempt to win the Athletics Carnival House Trophy.
On Monday 23rd August students in Year 5 will take part in an exciting three day excursion to Bathurst as part of their history unit in Term 3. The trip will include a range of engaging activities from gold panning to learning about life in the Colonial times at Bathurst Goldfields.
At this year's three day Canberra excursion the students will travel by coach to Canberra where they will experience many activities. Places visited will include Parliament House, The War Memorial, Questacon, Australian Institute of Sport and The Australian Botanical Gardens.
