We are proud of our school which provides a friendly, caring dynamic community striving for excellence in all areas of learning. We pride ourselves in being a school that is large enough to provide a variety of programs to extend and enhance student performance whilst retaining a family atmosphere in which the individual student is recognised and understood. By visiting our website we hope to provide you with a snapshot of our school.
Kent Road Public School is located in the north western suburbs of Sydney, close to Macquarie University, and the business districts of Macquarie Park, Macquarie Shopping Centre and Ryde.
The school opened with 166 students on 2nd February 1960 following a steep increase in the local population following World War Two.
Kent Road PS currently has an enrolment of 840 students, organised in to 36 classes. We offer English As An Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D) lessons for students from non-English speaking backgrounds.
Each of our classrooms is air conditioned and is equipped with the latest quality resources including an interactive whiteboard, ensuring students the best possible learning environment.
The school has before and after school care on site, as well as vacation care. This is provided through Camp Australia.
