Band and COVID Update

Dear Parents

Today the NSW Department of Education issued revised procedures for schools in line with health advice. These are attached for your information.

Please be aware that:

1. Parents and carers are reminded NOT to send children to school if they are unwell with even the mildest flu-like symptoms. Students with flu-like symptoms must provide a negative Covid 19 test result before they return to school.

2. Parents who have children in Beginning, Intermediate and Senior Band are advised that starting tomorrow, Tuesday 18^th August 2020, all band lessons (before school on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday mornings), as well as all group lessons for all instruments are cancelled until further notice. Band and instrument lessons are likely to be delivered online. We will advise parents of this as soon as we are able to contact each tutor and the conductor to make appropriate arrangements.
